Administrator (YES Initiative)

Introduction

Think Link, one of the companies in our Group, is seeking an Administrator to join their team. If you are highly organized, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy coordinating a variety of administrative functions, we'd love to hear from you. This is a 1-year fixed term contract that will provide meaningful experience, skills development, and exposure to a variety of administrative functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing phone calls and emails.
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents. 
  • Maintaining accurate physical and electronic records. 
  • Preparing invoices, quotations, purchase orders, and other documentation in Syspro.
  • Processing debit and credit notes in Syspro.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence. 
  • Ordering and monitoring office supplies. 
  • Assisting with stock control and stock counts. 
  • Following up on outstanding documents and customer queries. 
  • Maintaining customer and supplier records. 
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and administrative procedures. 
  • Receiving visitors and providing general front-desk support, where applicable. 
  • Performing general office housekeeping to keep the workplace organized. 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel)
  • Proficiency in Syspro ERP an advantage
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge preferable
  • Strong administrative and filing skills
  • Document management and scanning experience
  • Stock counting and inventory control experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Under 35 years of age
  • Currently unemployed 
  • Never participated anywhere in the YES programme before
