About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accounts & Administration Clerk to provide support with daily accounting, inventory, and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience and develop within a finance environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and customer follow-ups.
  • Process customer credit applications and supplier onboarding documentation.
  • Capture supplier invoices, stock receipts, and financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and verify incoming stock against documentation.
  • Investigate and report stock variances, damages, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Record stock movements, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing.
  • Assist with data capturing, reporting, and month-end procedures.
  • Respond professionally to customer and supplier queries.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in accounts/administration.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Computer literate, with good Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Must have reliable transport.
