Role Overview

Our client, a specialist provider of vehicle video telematics, tracking, fleet monitoring and driver-safety technology solutions, is looking for a highly organised and efficient Sales Administration Support professional to join its team.

This is a junior-level opportunity suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities and takes pride in ensuring that administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will provide end-to-end administrative support to the sales team, assist with onboarding new clients, coordinate documentation and installation updates, and ensure that internal processes continue moving without unnecessary delays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Administration and Document Management

    • Check and approve all Needs Analysis documentation before it is loaded onto the relevant system.

    • Liaise with sales team members to correct incomplete or inaccurate Needs Analysis documents.

    • Ensure all required supporting documents and client information have been received and captured accurately.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic client and sales records.

    • Provide general administrative support to the sales team.

  • Client Onboarding

    • Load new clients onto eWorks and ensure all required information is captured correctly.

    • Follow up with sales team members regarding missing or incomplete client information.

    • Create WhatsApp groups for newly onboarded clients.

    • Send welcome packs, login details and supporting documentation to new clients.

    • Assist with the smooth and professional onboarding of new clients.

  • Installation and Rollout Coordination

    • Load new and existing batch-file tickets on behalf of sales team members where required.

    • Send weekly installation progress updates to clients during rollout projects.

    • Monitor the batch-file process to ensure that all required steps are completed correctly.

    • Follow up continuously with the relevant internal departments to prevent unnecessary delays.

    • Escalate outstanding information, documentation or actions that may affect client installations or project deadlines.

  • Client and Sales Support

    • Provide ongoing administrative support relating to clients, installations and sales activities.

    • Prepare and issue MSISDN lists to clients where required.

    • Keep client information on eWorks accurate and up to date.

    • Maintain current asset and vehicle lists.

    • Assist with any additional administrative duties required within the sales environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric or Grade 12.

  • Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, client service or coordination role would be advantageous.

  • Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to capture and maintain information accurately.

  • Experience using CRM, workflow, ticketing or client-management systems would be advantageous.

  • Experience within the telematics, vehicle tracking, fleet management, automotive, technology, security or related industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
