Space Planning Administrator - Durban

Introduction

A well-established retail organisation based in Durban is seeking a Space Planning Administrator to provide administrative and analytical support to their Space Planning function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong retail administration, reporting, Excel and planning support experience who is looking to build a career within retail space planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Space Planning team.
  • Maintain and update space planning information and databases.
  • Assist with reports, analysis and data preparation.
  • Coordinate information between Space Planning, Buying, Planning and other departments.
  • Assist with store layouts, product information and space planning documentation.
  • Ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the team with various planning projects and initiatives.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • 1-3 years' experience in retail administration, planning, merchandise administration or a similar environment.
  • Strong Excel and data administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of information.
  • Retail/FMCG experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
