Duties & Responsibilities

  • Request stock on order sheet from Stock take
  •  Use Min Max levels as guideline
  • Follow up on orders placed.
  •  Receive stock for an order
  • Send order and Invoice to Supervisor Procurement
  • On receipt of items the items must be issued to the correct departments.
  •  If items are incorrect, they must be returned to the supplier for replacement/credit.
  • All items to be issued with an order
  • Do deliveries/Collections if driver is not available
  • Stores to be always kept neat and tidy
  • All shelves must be marked
  • Oversee prepacks.
  • Weekly reports to be given to Procurement Manager Outstanding stock, Stock takes
  • Monthly reports to be given to Procurement Manager Dead stock, Stock takes, Min Max levels

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12
  • Work on weekends when required.
  • Must be computer Literate
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Stores and Stock control experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills:
  •  Highly organized, self-motivated and disciplined
  • Good administrative skills
  • Lifting of heavy goods and working with chemicals
