Overview

The Flight Attendant (FA) supports the welfare, safety, security, and comfort of passengers on Frontier Airlines aircraft. The FA handles all interactions with passengers, provides assistance and information, sells onboard products, and follows all FAA regulations and company procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable flight experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain passenger welfare, safety, security, and comfort during all flight operations.
  • Interact with passengers, answer questions, address concerns, and sell onboard products.
  • Follow FAA regulations and internal procedures for the storage and handling of passengers and cargo.
  • Operate and inspect emergency equipment and respond to emergencies.
  • Provide flight safety instructions and assistance in case of medical emergencies.
  • Perform pre‑flight checks, including aircraft and cabin inspections.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous appearance in accordance with the Frontier Inflight Dress and Appearance standards.
  • Assist with boarding, de‑boarding, and service in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support and collaborate with crew members and leaders to ensure team effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid passport and permission to travel internationally; ability to travel to all current and future Frontier destinations.
  • At least 20 years old.
  • Professional appearance and behavior, including adherence to dress standards and tattoo restrictions (no visible tattoos or multiple piercings in restricted areas).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
  • Ability to adapt to schedule changes at short notice.
  • Willingness and ability to use domestic and international flights.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of COVID‑19 vaccination requirement; vaccine proof required at hire.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and remain calm under pressure.
  • Leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Physical ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs occasionally and 60 lbs frequently.
  • Ability to sit and be secured with seat belts and shoulder straps on all jump seats.

Physical Requirements

  • Repeated movements including bending at waist and knees; sustained holds for long periods.
  • Require 20/20 vision and hearing for essential tasks.
  • Ability to hear, interpret and respond to chime systems, call buttons and public address announcements.
  • Stand for multiple shifts and work in a pressurized cabin for long periods.Reach emergency equipment at all exits; operate manually controlled windows and emergency exits.
  • Perform actions such as moving kitchen carts up to 100 lbs.
  • Reach and serve passengers up to 67” high and 28” deep.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to work long hours and travel on domestic and international flights, including extended schedules and overnight flights.
