NDT Engineer (Non-Destructive Testing)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Requirement:
- Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, conduct system performance checks, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results.
- Successfully obtain the formal training hours required for any method where certification is being pursued, and any additional add-on formal training required by the company based on the demands of the business. (e.g. Computed Tomography training).
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique and/or method in which they are certified.
- Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures and work instructions.
- Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
- Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual specifications that control the Method used at their Site.
- Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Maintain NDT equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
