Senior Accountant

Salary: $20–30 per hour (or annual $67,600–$121,700)

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality economic reporting, accurate financial statements and technical accounting support.
  • Own accounting for share‑based compensation, percent‑re‑purchases, debt and derivatives.
  • Evaluate contracts and agreements, prepare financial statement disclosures, and ensure timely and accurate month‑end close.
  • Execute SOX internal controls and improve key internal reporting.
  • Collaborate with treasury, tax, capital planning and internal financial reporting teams.
  • Perform special projects and ad‑hoc analyses.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and provide guidance.
  • Utilize analytics to improve processes and maintain robust internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 4 years public accounting or applicable financial reporting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP including share‑based, debt and derivatives accounting.
  • Ability to analyze technical accounting matters independently and maintain high initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
  • High integrity and confidentiality.
  • Business‑savvy and able to collaborate across the organization.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment and manage multiple assignments.
  • Experience with SAP (desired).
  • Proficiency with records, Excel, data visualization and automation tools.
