Telehealth Psychiatrist / PMHNP | Evenings, Nights & Weekends

Remote | New York & Florida | Evenings, Overnights & Weekends

Independent Practice, Case Review & Peer Consultation Opportunities

This is not another telehealth shift job.

Nocturyn is building an evening and overnight practice network for psychiatrists and PMHNPs who want another way to use their license, experience, and professional expertise without leaving the work they already have.

You may want to build a small independent practice alongside your current role.

You may already own a practice and want to expand its reach.

Or, if you are an experienced clinician, you may be more interested in making your expertise available through professional case review or peer to peer consultation.

Some clinicians may eventually do both.

You decide what participation looks like.

What you can build

Participating clinicians may choose to:

  • Offer adult psychiatric services through their own independent practice
  • Open only the evenings, nights, or weekends that work for them
  • Maintain a small schedule or build a larger practice over time
  • Grow beyond their own calendar by adding qualified clinicians to their practice when eligible
  • Focus their practice around areas of demonstrated psychiatric expertise
  • Apply to offer professional case review when qualified and approved
  • Apply to provide peer to peer consultation when qualified and approved
  • Request professional consultation from other participating clinicians when appropriate

There are no required shifts or minimum weekly hours.

Nocturyn's supported operating window is 4 PM to 4 AM Eastern, seven days a week. You choose your availability within that window.

Who we're looking for

We are considering both experienced and early career clinicians.

Psychiatrists: MD or DO who has completed an applicable psychiatry residency. Board certified and board eligible physicians may be considered based on pathway requirements.

PMHNPs: Current PMHNP board certification is required. Both experienced PMHNPs and qualified early career PMHNPs may apply.

For current patient facing activation, applicants must hold or be willing and eligible to obtain applicable New York and/or Florida licensure before activation. State specific professional, collaboration, prescribing, and practice requirements remain applicable.

Telehealth experience is strongly preferred.

Established and early career pathways

Clinicians with 3+ years of qualifying post training specialty experience may be evaluated for Nocturyn's Established pathway.

Established clinicians may also be considered for broader professional participation, including case review and peer to peer consultation, based on experience, demonstrated expertise, qualifications, and approval.

Earlier career physicians and PMHNPs, including qualified newly licensed clinicians, may still apply through Nocturyn Next, a structured pathway for professionals who have not yet reached Established experience requirements.

Nocturyn facilitates the network and nonclinical infrastructure surrounding participation. Clinical judgment, professional responsibilities, applicable supervision or collaboration, and compliance with state law remain with the appropriate licensed professionals and practices.

Experienced clinicians, we especially want to hear from you

Already established and not looking for another patient panel?

Apply anyway.

We are also interested in experienced psychiatrists and PMHNPs who enjoy helping other professionals think through difficult cases, sharing specialty expertise, or participating in professional peer consultation.

Areas of expertise may include:

  • Adult psychiatry
  • Psychopharmacology
  • Addiction psychiatry
  • Reproductive and perinatal psychiatry
  • Geriatric psychiatry
  • Mood disorders
  • ADHD
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Trauma related conditions
  • Other demonstrated areas of psychiatric expertise

Daytime availability may also be considered for professional consultation activities.

You may pursue patient facing participation, professional consultation, or both, depending on qualifications and approval.

What Nocturyn adds

Your practice remains independent.

You establish your own professional rates, maintain your own clinical records and EHR, determine your availability, and retain responsibility for your clinical decisions.

Nocturyn builds nonclinical infrastructure around participating practices, including patient access, live operational support, intake and scheduling coordination, technology resources, and relationships with organizations and referral sources seeking additional evening and overnight outpatient options.

The goal is not to replace what you have already built.

It is to give your practice another supported environment in which to be found, accessed, and potentially grown.

Professional economics and participation

Patient facing participation is an independent practice opportunity, not employment with Nocturyn.

Participating practices independently establish their professional services and professional fees. Nocturyn does not establish clinical rates.

For recruiting context, we are particularly interested in professional service configurations capable of supporting approximately $400 per hour or greater in independent professional economics, depending on service mix, specialty, experience, and the practice's independently established rates.

This is not a guaranteed wage, salary, or Nocturyn established professional rate.

Professional case review and peer consultation are separate professional opportunities with arrangements dependent upon qualifications, scope, availability, and the professionals participating.

Participation also includes an applicable practice investment for Nocturyn's infrastructure and network support. Complete costs and participation terms are provided privately before a clinician or practice makes a participation decision.

Why clinicians are exploring Nocturyn

You do not have to leave your current position.

You do not have to promise 20 hours a week.

You do not have to build every piece of an independent telehealth operation alone.

And experienced clinicians do not necessarily have to build another patient panel to contribute.

Build a practice. Grow one you already own. Contribute your expertise. Or eventually do more than one.

What happens after you apply

Applications are personally reviewed on a rolling basis.

Applicants selected to continue are invited into Nocturyn's private review process through The Eminent Network.

Before confidential participation materials are released, selected applicants complete a brief Non Disclosure Agreement. They then receive the applicable private overview, participation structure, infrastructure and support information, investment, standards, expectations, and terms.

Applying and reviewing the private materials do not commit you to participation.

An established business entity is not required to apply, sign the NDA, review private materials, or receive a conditional participation offer. An eligible professional practice entity and all other applicable requirements must be completed and verified before activation.

Florida and New York are activating first. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with private participation offers beginning as early as October 7, 2026.

Provider recruitment for Nocturyn is managed through The Eminent Network.
